AlumierMD is committed to formulating safe products without the use of chemical preservatives like parabens, BHA (butylated hydroxyanisole) and BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene). Parabens mimic estrogen and concerns exist as to how this may affect certain cancers in women and hormone levels in young girls. BHA and BHT can induce allergic reactions and BHA is a possible human carcinogen and hormone disruptor.
