The most commonly treated area is the armpit. It is a simple and effective treatment involving multiple injections into the dermis where the sweat glands are. The botulinum toxin works by blocking the stimulation of the sweat gland thus inactivating the sweat gland; therefore, no more perspiration.You may wonder, does this mean that I will not sweat anywhere else?
